Is there anybody out there?

We started this blog in English so that our friends and family over the world would have the chance to read about our life, and see pictures of Alice and how she grows. However, it seems to us like most of the people who read this are in Sweden and speak Swedish. So we are thinking of changing the official language of Wonderland back into Swedish. This way we can also write about Alice's developping speaking skills - since she is speaking Swedish there would be no point in writing this in English anyways.

If enough people come back with wild protests, we might consider writing
parts of the blog in English again, or we can translate for you. It's not that we don't love you and think about you guys in other countries, it's just that we don't know that you are reading this.

So next time will be in Swedish. Pretty exiting stuff, huh?

Visiting with Edith *pictures fixed*

Yesterday we got to visit with baby Edith, the new cousin, only five days old. (She's the daughter of Johan's brother Mattias.)

Alice is naturally very curious, but also quite jealous and posessive of her mother. Hey, thats my mom! Actually, she's been posessive of most things lately. My chair, my car, my ball, my trousers etc etc. Sometimes very cute, sometimes annoying.

Edith again. Isn't she just adorable? Everything was just great with the whole family. They are, in their own words, immensely enjoying the normality of things. With Ville things weren't quite so normal, and they had barely cuddeled him when he was five days old.

Blueberries

Blueberries, the Swedish kind, I guess in the States they call them black berries? They're smaller and darker than the American blue berries. Anyhow, they're good! And neither blue nor black when stuck on clothes and little girls, more purple. As shown below. So I guess that makes it purple, purpler and purplest?Alice likes to eat them straight from the freezer, says "cold" and makes a funny face, but she can't get enough of them. We look forward to the summer when we can pick fresh blueberries in Timmervik, our summer paradise.

Also, we got some new furniture for Alice's room. Next step is to put up some new wall paper (white and orange, with lots of animals, like elephants, monkeys, giraffes, dinosaurs etc). More pics to come.

Alice has a new cousin!

Great news - Alice has a new cousin!

Today Johan's brother and his girlfriend gave birth to a beautiful little baby girl! Ville (read more about Alice's first cousin here in Swedish) is a big brother, and Alice is a big cousin!

Congratulations from us all and lots and lots of love to this new family member and citizen of the world. We are in awe of the miracle of life!
