Det här med syskonbilder / Pictures

Alltså det här med syskonbilder... Jag kan liksom inte få nog av dem. Mina fina fina barn!

Alice älskar att ta hand om och roa sin lillebror, hon gör grimaser och pratar med honom och vill gärna hjälpa till med både det ena och andra. Syskonsvartsjukan är ett minne blott. Tack och lov! Och Vincent abgudar redan sin storasyster, skrattar och ler när hon leker med honom. Det är bedårande att se.

I can't get enough of pictures of my two kids together. Aren't they gorgeous?

Alice loves her little brother and likes to make faces and talk to him all the time. She likes to help take care of him. She was jelous of him before, but no more, thank God. And Vincent adores his big sister, he laughs and smiles when she plays with him. It is just wonderful to se.

Fjällsemester / Going skiing

Vi är på fjällsemester hela ligan, dvs mormor och morfar, morbror Jofes och Tora och så vi. En mysig liten fjällstuga med bastu, öppen spis och massor av furu. Precis som det skall vara med andra ord.

Det är rejält kallt, på morgonkvisten närmare 20 minusgrader, men också väldigt vackert. Vi har haft några dagar med strålande solsken men också lite mulet och snö. Lite utförsåkning och lite längdåkning har det blivit och så lite pulka. Och så lappen förstås. Lapin (eller Lappen som det också kan stavas) är en tradition i familjen T, ett kortspel som kan avgöra livets alla stora frågor. Exempelvis vem som är "The true disciple of Gunde Svan" eller vem som äger Stockholms innerstad.

The whole clan has gone skiing. We have a cute cabin way in the north of Sweden (550 km from Stockholm), with a sauna, a fireplace and the manditory amount of pine wood. If you have ever been skiing in Sweden you know the type.

It's really very cold, close to 20 degrees below zero (Celsius that is, that would be around 4 degrees below zero in Fahrenheit) in the morning. Warmer in the afternoon. We've done some cross country skiing and some downhill skiing and we've been playing Lapin (or Lappen as it is also known). For those of you not familiar with Lapin suffice it to say that it is a very important tradition in this family, and that this card game can decide very important questions, such as who is "The true Disciple of Gunde Svan" or who owns the entire Stockholm down town.

All in all, we are having a very good time.

Även Vincent fick åka några varv i barnbacken på mormors mage (mamma var bara lite nervös...)
