When the water is cold

What to do when the water in the lake is freezing cold? Well fill up the inflatable pool with warm water, naturally.

We are a little bit bummed. The rest of Sweden is enjoying unpresedented summer heat while we are experiencing quite chilly weather and some rain. In other words, we have the ordinary Swedish summer weather here, and are all a bit jealous of other parts of Sweden. But we are happy anyways, because we have great company. And an inflatable pool.

Summer in Timmervik

Finally we are in Timmervik, our little piece of paradise. A few weeks of reading books in the hammock (as much as the kids allow), reading books to the kids while sitting on the potty (see below), swimming in the lake (well, at least a quick dip every now and then, it's been quite cold in the water), having bargeques over open fires, going to the beach (where the water is much warmer and where they have ice cream), playing playing playing and hanging out with Johanna's parents and brother Joseph with girlfriend Tora, as well as aunt Britt-Marie and her husband Jan Henrik. Lot's of people and lots of fun.
